Young Caliber - Bluffton, S.C

"Infamously known as the "North-South Kid", Young Caliber brandishes the skills to integrate both the swagger of New York Hip Hop with the hard bounce of the South, uniting the "best of both worlds". Being raised on the tough streets of Harlem, Young Caliber found himself in and out of the juvenile system for most of his young life. Eventually getting on the right track, Young Caliber finished high school, and was given a partial scholarship to play basketball. He moved to Bluffton, South Carolina where he focused on perfecting his writing skills. In 2005, Young Caliber formed a four man Hip Hop group called M Dash. The group had a hit song called "Groovin". M Dash seemed to have a promising future, but was short lived after the group was hit with unfortunate circumstances; one member becoming ill and another facing federal prison time. With a hustler's grind and determination. Young Caliber worked diligently in the studio recording music, and in 2006, he release his first mix-tape "The Heart of the Streets". Young Caliber is perfecting his second mix tape CD, "The Bounce Back", which is currently available online. Music lovers can expect to hear a refreshing sound that blends the North and South to perfection."-Bio
