Check Nicki Minaj's Super Hwot Cover on Vibe Magazine!

Oh my Gosh!! Nicki Minaj is featured on the Feb/March issue of Vibe magazine and I must say she looks "Hwot"!! The photo shoot and interview are a part of a promotional campaign for her new album "Pink Friday: Roman reloaded". Nicki also shares some interesting view points with Vibe about her past and future work.
VIBE: You’ve said before that you didn’t really have fun recording Pink Friday.
Nicki Minaj: I felt like I had something to prove to everyone who said a female rapper could not make an album unless she was talking about her pussy. And so I went above and beyond to prove that I could not talk about sex and not talk about my genitalia and still have a successful album. And I proved that. And now my time for proving things to my critics is over. I don’t really need to prove anything to anyone else anymore.
Is it still hard to get your way as a woman in this industry?
Nicki Minaj: It’s not hard to get your way when it’s your way or the highway. People either follow suit or they’re not around. I don’t really like the sound of that, ‘cause that sounds like a temper tantrum. I’m just very black and white when it comes to my business. There’s really no gray area. I really don’t have a lot of small talk with people I work with. It’s pretty much let’s get the job done. In the beginning, if people didn’t know me they’d probably assume I wasn’t smart or wasn’t business savvy. But once you sit and talk to me, it’s a different story.
You were heavy on the fashion scene last year around Fashion Week with Anna Wintour. Do you feel like you’ve been accepted by the fashion world?
Nicki Minaj:Yeah, I realized more recently that even if it’s for a fashion magazine, I’m not gonna change who I am. When I was doing photo shoots last year, I kept on being told, “This is what we want your hair to look like and this is what we want you to look like,” and it really, really stifled my creativity. So the other day I was talking to a photographer, and he said, “You know what, I like your everyday looks so much better than when you do photo shoots for magazines.” And I was like, “So do I, you’re absolutely right.” I’d been getting more and more frustrated for a while.

Chris Brown Accused of Stealing iPhone

Everybody blames Chris...Chris Brown is accused of snatching a fan's iPhone after seeing her snap pics of him and rapper Tyga leave a nightclub. A rep for Miami Beach PD tells 24-year old Christal Spann filed a police report Sunday for "robbery by sudden snatching". Allegedly Chris flipped his lid when he saw her recording and snatched her phone saying "Bitch, you ain't going to put that on no website". *Take it easy Chris, you still on probation homie.*

*New Unsigned Hype* Rob Carney

"Sprinkle a little bit of Rakim, Marshall Mathers & AZ and you get music similar to what Jersey-bred MC Rob Carney projects. Like many artists, Rob Carney began in Rap group called Neoterics, who opened up for Acts like Donny Klang, JR Writer, Fred Da Godson and Corey Gunz.

As his own buzz built up momentum and with a lot to talk about, Rob Carney decided to release his own Solo project, hence the release of his brand new mixtape called 'Spaced Out' ".-Bio

Singer Whitney Houston Dies at age 48

It is sad to report that the Queen of Music, Whitney Houston dies at age 48; details to her death are still unclear. Publicist Kristen Foster said Saturday that the singer had died, but the cause of her death is unknown. Houston's lifeless body was discovered in her room at the Beverly Hilton Hotel by a member of her entourage.

At the young age of 48, Whitney leaves the world with an endless list of music and talent, from studio to cinema. Despite numerous obstacles (no need to mention), Whitney Houston began her career as a top selling artist in the early 80's well into the year 2000. She always stole the show with her impeccable talent and beauty.

Whitney Houston was destined for musical greatness; it was in her genes. She was the daughter of gospel singer Cissy Houston, the cousin of 1960s pop diva Dionne Warwick and the goddaughter of Aretha Franklin.

My Condolences go out to Cissy Houston and Bobbi Kristina for their lost. Whitney Houston's legacy will continue on forever, influencing many up and coming artist. The world will remember her always and forever. A true musical genius... Rest in Peace Whitney Houston.

*We Love you Whitney*

Music World Divas with Extreme Tatts!!

Rihanna has a new "Thug Life" Tattoo that she is showing off which makes us wonder about this "good girl gone bad". This latest body paint is number# 14 to her collection of Tattoos. Rihanna's tatts range from quotes, stars, roman numerals, guns and now the Tupac inspired "Thug Life".

Amber Rose is seen here testing the waters with a temporary tribal facial tattoo. Facial tatts are a brave move to make. My advice is just to be sure of the decision and have a good job that doesn't require you to be so professional looking. :)
