Updates on Rick Ross the Boss

Rapper Rick Ross was released from Birmingham, Alabama hospital and is said to be in good condition. DJ Khaled, who is a close friend to Ross tweeted the above picture on Sunday stating " My Brother Rozay!! Is Good!!"

Rick Ross suffered two seizures this weekend. The first occurred on a plane from Ft. Lauderdale, Florida to Memphis. The Delta airline flight was forced to make an emergency landing, in where "The Boss" received emergency medical attention. He later was released and insisted on flying to a later gig on a private jet, in where the second seizure occurred. Rick Ross was rushed to the Birmingham, Alabama hospital and later released that day. The cause of the airplane seizures remain a mystery, but could be a warning sign of a serious medical condition. Best wishes to you Ricky, get well soon.

Thursday, October.13, 2011 marked the one year anniversary of the death of Andre "Huddy 6" Hudson. Family and friends gathered in Harlem to remember the Huddy 6 Legacy of good times, music and lasting friendships. We gathered in A Touch of Dee Lounge (Huddy's pre-club spot to get cheap drinks), popped bottles and listened to the newly released mix tape called " The 6 Tape".

The 2011 BET Hip Hop Awards Hosted By MIKE EPPS was pretty okay. Rap heavy weights like T.I., Young Jeezy and Rick Ross graced the stage. Along with Music Pioneers like Heavy D, El Debarge and "I am Hip Hop Icon award winner LL Cool J! Who had a Memorable 16 as a thank you speech!

Mike Epps you could have been a bit funnier. I personally was not entertained. Maybe I missed the funny as I clicked the channels.







 
The Night Highlights for me were the Cyphers!! They were off the hook! Absolutely positively loved them! Joe Budden, Y. Wolf and Slim Shady  represented for all the Lyrically gifted and misunderstood. Loved it!!

Rumors have it that over the weekend in Las Vegas, Ray J and Fabolous got into a lil scuffle. They say two licks were thrown, Fab hit Ray J and Ray J hit the floor! Now I am not the one to gossip and you aint hear it from me! (In Living Color Flash back) The fight Allegedly started from jokes between the two (Fab and Ray) that went way too far. Next thing we know Fab says "F%&$  You" and breaks Ray J off a Brooklyn combo on Saturday's Big Fight Night! *Big Shout Out to Mayweather, who won a fourth round knock out and later gave commentator Larry Merchant the business!!*  Well the story gets better people!! Ray J got on the radio yesterday morning denying the knock out story! He says its the other way around and wants Fab to tell the truth!!

The Tenth Anniversary of Aaliyah's Death

It's hard to believe, but today marks the Ten year anniversary of the Beautiful R&B Singer's death. Ten years ago today Aaliyah died in a horrible plane crash in the Bahamas. Aaliyah and her team had just completed her "Rock the Boat" video and were headed back to the states, when their two engine plane crashed shortly after take off.

Aaliyah stood out from many with her unique style, breath taking beauty and undeniable talent. The R&B Singer was about to dominant the music scene with her constant flow of hits like, "Back & Forth," "Age Ain't Nothin' But a Number," "Are You That Somebody" and "We Need A Resolution". Aaliyah's career was not limited to music alone, she modeled and worked on her own film "Queen of the Damned".

I remember hearing the news of Aaliyah's death and couldn't believe my ears. I remember the tears, the songs and many t-shirts with her face spray painted on them. She was very talented and beautiful, she had so much more to give the world through her music. Aaliyah's musical legacy has left us with many beautiful memories. Rest in Peace Aaliyah Dana Haughton! You will always be remembered.

 Nick Ashford from R&B Duet Ashford & Simpson, died Monday of throat cancer. The Songwriter/Singer is well known for his musical contributions that can be stemmed from the early 1960's. Ashford  & Simpson took the early 70's and 80's  by storm with hits like, Found a Cure, Street Corner, and Solid! These songs are forever etched in our memories as timeless classic music. Nick Ashford will be remembered as a great artist and for his magnificent contribution to the world of music. Rest In Peace.

OutKast member, Big Boi, was arrested in Miami for Drug Possession!! Inside sources tell us, as Big Boi exited his cruise ship, border patrol dogs sniffed the goods in his bags!! According to the Miami-Dade County Correction, Big Boi whose real name is Antwan Patton, was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

What exactly did Big Boi have in those bags??? Well Big Boi had some Ecstasy, some MDMA Powder (??) and some Viagra too!! He was held on 16,000 bond but quickly released the very same day.

Sean Kingston hurt in Jet- Ski accident

 "Beautiful Girls" singer Sean Kingston was injured in a jet ski accident in Miami, Florida. It is reported that Kingston and a female passenger crashed into a bridge Sunday evening and were rescued by a passing boater. Kingston is listed in critical condition and there are no reports on the condition of the female passenger. Let us pray that the two make a speedy recovery.

Macho Man Randy Savage dies at 58. The Legendary Wrestling Superstar suffered a heart attack while driving Friday, May.20th and lost control of the vehicle. The Macho man began his career at the WWF in 1985. Macho Man Randy Savage had young and old glued to their television sets every Saturday for the main event.
