R&B Legend Teena Marie, Dies at age 54
Known as the "Ivory Queen of Soul" her sound was undeniably rich and unique! She took the radio airwaves by storm with hits like, Square Biz, Lovergirl and Fire & Desire! “I still have people coming up to me 26 years later and looking at me and all of a sudden going, ‘I didn’t know you were white!’ ” she said in an interview on National Public Radio in 2006.
